Nature Awareness Activities
for Children's Birthday Parties
Do your child and friends enjoy nature? Add a couple of activities that will add to their fun. I so enjoy the wide-eyed and exited children I meet at my programs at Forest campgrounds and local schools. Why not your child’s party!
I plan for two activities per visit. That'll take 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the activities and the children's excitement. I can customize to fit your schedule, too.
Most of my activities work in the outdoors, some need space to move around. Your lawn and garden edges will probably do. If you have natural landscape with trees & grass, all the better! A few activities will work indoors if there’s enough space. I may need time to set up alone. Some may need props set up or adhered to walls, trees or fences. Some could be a little messy. I provide all materials for my activities, not party decorations (at this time).
I can work with children ages 4-12, usually in a group around the same age if it’s a big party. I know a group of siblings will vary in age. I’d like parents or responsible adults to be present. Even though some activities require adults to sit back so the children can focus on each other and my instruction.
Check out my activities descriptions, age recommendations and then talk with me about your ideas. I’m adaptable and will work to make activities simple and enjoyable for all!
